Dave King became the Director of Athletics at Eastern Mennonite University in 2005, continuing a career in athletics in educational institutions that began after graduating from then Eastern Mennonite College in 1976. He has worked at all levels from teaching kindergarten physical education, teaching/coaching junior high sports and administrating athletic programs at the high school and collegiate levels. He has also served as a middle school principal and high school assistant principal. Dave earned a bachelors degree from Eastern Mennonite College and a Master’s degree from Temple University in Educational Administration. Dave and his wife Deb have three adult children and two granddaughters. Dave, Deb and their children all played high school and college sports.
Margot Starbuck is the award-winning author of six books, including Not Who I Imagined, a 2015 Selah Awards finalist for Christian Living. She is a widely sought-after speaker connecting with audiences on campuses and at conferences, retreats and festivals across the country. Margot is a graduate of Princeton Seminary and Westmont College and a columnist at Today’s Christian Woman. For five years, Margot coached Special Olympics basketball in California. After seminary, she worked in New Jersey as a chaplain among folks living with intellectual and physical disabilities.
